Our Story
DC Roofing Contractors was founded in 1996 by Hein Krynauw, who previously co-owned a truss plant before venturing into roof truss erection.
During this time, it became clear that the industry lacked skilled erectors with sufficient knowledge of pre-fabricated trusses. To bridge this gap, Hein began training learner carpenters—many of whom are still part of our team today and have grown into highly qualified roofing specialists.
As the market grew, so did DC Roofing. Over the years, we expanded our expertise to include a wide range of roofing services, enabling us to take on projects of all sizes and complexities. Today, we proudly handle roofing contracts from tender stage right through to final inspection, delivering quality and reliability at every step.

Extending from residential to commercial right through to industrial environments, with various teams that specializes in each of the different departments, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
We are ITC registered installers of all types of timber truss structures, including exposed trusses. We supply and install all types of roof covering, from concrete Roof Tiles, metal roof sheeting to Harvey roof tiles. We also specialize in Re-roofs, Asbestos removal and existing structural timber remedial. We are also BIBC, FEM & MBA registered.
